Standard NDS Meter Boxes 

Standard Commercial Grade NDS Meter Boxes are designed to offer years of service under the most demanding outdoor conditions. NDS Meter Boxes are available in round, oval and rectangular styles and feature a one-piece polyolefin molded design with UV inhibitors added to aid in preventing discoloration and cracking. Covers are available in overlapping, which prevents dirt and grass from settling between the box and cover, or drop-in. All rectangular box sizes offer covers include both solid and meter reader options in a variety.

D109 & D1100 Meter Boxes

NDS 6” & 10” round meter boxes and covers are injection molded of recycled polyolefin material with a melt index between 10-12. Coloring and UV stabilizers are added, along with processing lubricants when needed.
The 6” round body is tapered and has a minimum wall thickness of .13”. The body has a double wall at the top cover seat area with a minimum thickness of .125”. The bottom of the body has a .25” flange. The 6” round cover has an average thickness of .15”.
The 10” round body is tapered and has a minimum wall thickness of .20”. The body has a cover seat area with a minimum thickness of .20”. The bottom of the body has a .50” flange. The 10” round cover has an average thickness of .20”.

D1200 Meter Boxes

The NDS 12”x17”x12” body is tapered and has a minimum wall thickness of .25”. The body has a double wall at the top cover seat area with a minimum thickness of .187”. The cover seat area has 30 structural support ribs on the underside of the seat, each with a minimum thickness of 3/16”. The bottom of the body has a 1” flange. The D1200 cover has a minimum thickness of .250”. NDS D1200 meter boxes and covers are injection molded of structural foam recycled polyolefin material with a melt index between 10-12. Coloring and UV stabilizers are added, along with processing lubricants when needed.

D1500, D1800 & D2400 Meter Boxes

NDS D1500 (13”x20”), D1800 (12”x17”) & D2400 (16”) meter boxes and covers are injection molded of structural foam recycled polyolefin material with a melt index between 10-12. Coloring and UV stabilizers are added, along with processing lubricants when needed.
The D1500 13”x 20” body is tapered and has a minimum wall thickness of .25”. The body has a double wall at the top cover seat area with a minimum thickness of .187”. The cover seat area has 30 structural support ribs on the underside of the seat, each with a minimum thickness of 1/50”. The bottom of the body has a 1” flange. The 13”x 20” cover has an average thickness of .250”.
The D1800 12”x17” body is tapered and has a minimum wall thickness of .25”. The body has a double wall at the top cover seat area with a minimum thickness of .22”. The cover seat area has 26 structural support ribs on the underside of the seat, each with a minimum thickness of .12”. The bottom of the body has a .50” flange. The 12”x17” cover has an average thickness of .20”. The D2400 16” round meter pit body is tapered and has a minimum wall thickness of .2615”. The body has a double wall at the top cover seat area with a minimum thickness of .2780”. The cover seat area has 8 structural support ribs on the underside of the seat, each with a minimum thickness of .0995”. The bottom of the body has a 1/2” flange which flares to 1-1/4” at bolt hole. The 12 3/8” cover has an average thickness of .3/8”.
