Flexible PVC Rubber Couplings
Applications
- Flexible couplings connect clay, concrete, or asbestos cement fibre/ductile iron pipe to cast iron/plastic/copper/steel/lead pipe; coupling flexibility provides leak-resistant seals with virtually any pipe
- Flexible caps stop the flow of water at the end of the pipeline; closes off pipe; remove cap to flush pipe system
- Flexible adapters works with most plastic pipe to transport water through manhole wall and provide a leak-resistant connection
Installation & Maintenance
- Coupling and cap have clamped end(s) that slide onto pipe;
- Tighten clamp(s) with screwdriver, 5/16 in. nut driver or socket to 60 inch-lbs. torque
- Adapter screws onto pipe
- Performance issues can indicate damage; replace as needed

- Flexible caps, couplings, and adapters are made of flexible elastomeric polyvinyl chloride
- Clamps are made of series 300 stainless steel
- Onsite flow management helps provide a leak-resistant and corrosion-free system
