Deliver precise watering to your plants with the Take-a-Part™ flag emitter. Available with 1.0, 2.0, and 4.0 GPH flow. Features a pull flag that diassembles the flag for cleaning. NOTE: the flag does not adjust the water flow.
Key Features
Flag dripper can be connected in multiple ways: directly into supply line and used on its own; in supply line with micro tubing coming off of it to extend reach; or attached to end of micro tubing which is connected to the supply line
Pull flag makes it easy to remove the top of emitter and flush out the inside to clear debris
Color coded flag to identify GPH: black – 1.0 GPH; green – 2.0 GPH; blue – 4.0 GPH
1/4 in. insert barb attaches to end of 1/4 in. micro tubing or punched hole in supply line
Designed to work with standard drip irrigation water pressures up to 50 PSI
Applications
Delivers precise watering to keep the soil moist and hydrate the plant’s root zone
Ideal for watering individual plants, shrubs, and trees as well as plants in containers and hanging baskets
As part of a complete drip irrigation system, the emitter delivers water gradually; with a non-pressure compensating emitter, expect varying water flow based on length of tubing or elevation, with higher flow closer to the water source
Installation & Maintenance
Can be used in multiple ways: attached to end of 1/4 in. distribution tubing connected to supply tubing; punched directly into supply tubing; or punched into supply tubing with 1/4 in. feeder line attached to extend reach toward plant
Periodically check for leaks or damage and repair as needed; recommended operating pressure for most emitters is up to 50 PSI
Materials & Sustainability
Emitter made of polyethylene treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking
Drip irrigation can reduce water usage by up to 70% compared to conventional sprinkler irrigation when used properly; for most drip irrigation products, water is applied precisely and at the rate the soil can accept it to prevent runoff and erosion
