Applications
- Adds height to the emitter to provide plants with overhead irrigation; pop-up riser pops up with pressure
- Use for on grade installation; works with tubing to transport water to trees, shrubs, flower beds, groundcover, vegetable gardens, and container plants
- As part of a complete drip irrigation system, the riser lifts up the low-flow emitter, connects to tubing, and makes it easy to move and position the emitter as desired for overhead watering
Installation & Maintenance
- Attach 1/4 in. inlet to 1/4 in. tubing (A220/A250); screw emission device onto top
- Top of Hydro-Pop riser should extend about 1 in. above grade
- Periodically check for damage and replace or repair as needed; recommended operating pressure is up to 50 PSI
Materials & Sustainability
- Riser is made of polyethylene treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking
- Drip irrigation can reduce water usage by up to 70% compared to conventional sprinkler irrigation when used properly; for most drip irrigation products, water is applied precisely and at the rate the soil can accept it to prevent runoff and erosion
