Botanical Gardens, Chester County, PA

A horticultural garden in PA renowned for its collection of some of the most beautiful plants and landscape designs in the world consists of hundreds of acres of horticultural gardens and woods that transform each season, drawing hundreds of thousands to its beautiful oasis. In February of 2023, the organization made the decision to incorporate a multi-acre expansion on the property. NDS was contacted by the specifying engineer to develop a drainage solution that would capture the sheet flow from the new walkway and staircases in an effort to stave off any water pooling.

An innovation and technology park in the heart of a major Texas city was developed to offer the community a common area and pedestrian park connected to multiple businesses, restaurants and high-end apartments. There was concern that water could seep into buildings and damage equipment following a storm, so the specifier on the project reached out to NDS to help find the right product for managing water.

NDS Design Worx® Team Tackles Sheetflow with Channel Drain Layout for Major Fast-Food Company's Office Courtyard

A fast-growing chicken restaurant in the Dallas Fort Worth area was building a central corporate office to support its multiple locations. The design included an outside courtyard that was very flat, posing a challenge for stormwater drainage. They had 3 key requirements: a low-profile drainage system that could manage the site’s sheet flow, meet high storm intensity requirements even with the area’s flat topography and feature a high-end finish.
