Attach the PVC Foot Valve, 2 in. IPS FPT to the bottom of pipe line to prevent debris from entering pump or irrigation system. Water is allowed through the valve when the water pressure is greater than the weight of the 1/2 lb spring. This leak-resistant valve connects to an MPT screen on one end and 2 in. MPT pipe on the other end. Prevents costly property damage, pipe corrosion, and system issues. Durable foot valve is made of PVC plastic. Screen is made of polyethylene 100 mesh. O-Ring is made of EPDM. Use fittings and other valves to set up a new irrigation system, expand an existing system, or make repairs.
