Built for durability and easy accessibility, the meter box fits over valves, control zone kits, and other irrigation components. Durable overlapping cover provides access for maintenance and reader door allows for easy meter reading. Built with structural reinforcing ribs, the black box and black cover are built to stand up to the elements, pedestrian traffic, lawn care equipment, and potential vandalism. The overlapping lid blocks dirt and debris from entering the meter box to keep the area clean. Convenient slot makes lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver. The meter box is made of polypropylene (PP) using 100% recycled materials; the lid is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using 100% recycled materials. Both the irrigation meter box and lid are treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from sun exposure.
