Protect critical underground components such as irrigation control valves, sewer cleanouts, and wire splices with the 14 in. X 19 in. Rectangular Pro-Spec® Series Valve Box and Cover. The commercial grade valve box is engineered with corrugated sidewalls for added strength while reducing material and weight. The durable enclosure features the patented Universal Locking Mechanism (ULM) that enables the valve box cover to be secured with a variety of bolts and screws (3/8 to 1/2 in. diameter, minimum 2-1/2 in. length) and without the need for a nut. A speed nut shelf is also built into the box as an alternative way to fasten the cover using the traditional bolt/screw and nut. Built-in pipe holes allow piping to pass through the walls of the box so that the box does not rest on the pipe. Box stands 12 in. high and comes with a bolt-down cover that keeps debris out of the box and prevents theft and tampering. The cover is marked "IRRIGATION CONTROL VALVE" to identify components. The green valve box is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The green lid is made of polypropylene (PP). Both box and lid are treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking, and come with a stainless steel bolt.
