Durable, reliable, and weather-resistant, the 12 in. Pro Series Channel™ Drain Grate in cast iron is built tough and gets the job done. Drains heavy water flows from patios, plazas, parking lots, and sports fields and blocks out leaves and debris before they can enter and clog drain pipes. Drain grate (or drain cover) has an open surface area of 46.7 sq. in./ft. and 202 GPM/ft. flow rate. Cast iron grate is intended to rust over time, forming a protective iron-oxide patina in red-orange that ages to a deep, rich brown. NDS iron grates are lightly painted black to inhibit rust formation for shipping and storage purposes only.
